Church in Saffron Walden
Sepia tone is a very good solution to accentuate colors of walls in the old buildings. It helps with getting good contrast, and it also preserves the picture for years!
This picture was taken on Agfa or HP5 Ilford film. I use both, however HP5 is not as good as Kodak (which thanks God, returned to more normal prices finally).
I have developed it in D-72, and this was good idea. D-72 Kodak diluted 1:1 is more contrasty, but it is warmer than PQ. This is good for pictures of architecture and daily life. The results are more natural to this what I expect from my pictures. PQ from Ilford is a good developer and it works very well with landscape photography. It is very nice for a Fine Art photography where the form of the subject is crucial.

This is 8 x 10 print
I usually print my work on 8"x10" paper where square pictures are 7"x7" as an image area. Larger formats are of course possible when customer asks for it.
Having such a print on the wall makes the room much nicer. I like the look of the houses where pictures are hanging on the walls, and their look resemble that they have been there for decades. Especially good at it are American production designers in movie productions. I like to watch movies often just to glance on the walls in these movies to find something interesting. The good examples can be series Friends, where in almost every episode was something interesting on the walls.
